Kevin Simpson

Kevin joined Focus Capital in 2003 and has been instrumental in closing many complex deals for the firm. In addition to traditional M&A intermediary services, Kevin also provides buy side due diligence expertise. His background includes fifteen years in public accounting at Friedman, Eisenstein, Raemer & Schwartz (FERS), as a partner and a member of the Executive Committee. Kevin also spent four years as the Chief Operating Officer and National Director of Consulting Services for the accounting firm industry leader Practice Development Institute. Additionally, he specializes in strategic planning and CFO and turn-around services to a wide range of businesses with an emphasis on manufacturing, distribution and professional service firms.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Northern Illinois University, and holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management with a specialization in accounting and finance. He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society, the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors (where he is a Certified M&A Advisor) as well as the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries.
